The Lufkin Foundation is committed to supporting Romanian migrants working abroad and their families living in Romania. In pursuit of this commitment, the Lufkin Foundation has launched a pilot project in Iasi County to create a comprehensive profile of Romanian migrants.

Through an in-depth sociological survey of households with at least one family member working abroad, we have gathered data on remittances, needs, and entrepreneurial intentions. Our analysis was augmented with key statistics and insights provided by Transfer Rapid, a major player in the remittance market and a generous supporter of the Lufkin Foundation's mission.
