The complexity, structure and on-going changing of the Romanian migration phenomenon impose the need of setting up a national migration observatory which monitors constantly the movement of Romanian citizens among the states of the world, by monitoring indicators such as:

The National Observatory of Romanian Migration acts in partnership with other private and public institutions and organizations in order to:

support the ever-growing operational challenges to manage migration

investigate the migration impact upon the host/of origin economies and societies;

propose directions of action in the private and public environments

This entity organizes debates on certain topics, alongside working groups where financial structures and banking and religious institutions actively participate, having as aims:

  1. 1 communities’ economic and social development via research, dialogue, design and implementation of programmes pertaining to migration
  2. 2supporting the integration of migrants and their families into their new life environment
  3. 3providing programmes, surveys and social expertize on combating migration’s negative effects
